Am I the only one who has a faint sense of foreboding at having the name Waldron associated with anything nearby to EWF???????

Or am I just exhibiting Waldronist tendencies?

They do - McGillivray Oval is where they currently train - and Yes, it's right next to their offices anyway, so travel is hardly a problem.

I had 91.3 going in the car yesterday and I'm pretty sure Waldron stated that they are "committed to a staged redevelopment" of MEBS. I didn't get the full gist as I had a mate chewing my ear at the time. I know it's still only words but the more he says it the more hope I have.

Well if the Glory sell all their corporates as they think they will because of Robbie Fowler joining the club it might help re kick start the rectangular stadium issue.

The only sentence I care about is the one printed in the next state budget.

that's the spiral that the Glory are stuck in ATM, they can't afford the top talent because their bottom line is so skinny, they can't improve their bottom line without better performances they can't perform better without better talent.

Hopefully the stuff that RugbyWA are putting into place will strengthen them and in turn strengthen our bid for a rebuild.

A number of British ex-pats over here might be encouraged along to the Glory matches if Fowler is playing. If he gets himself into shape he's an awesome player. Trouble is, his shape last year was closer to spherical!

Glory can afford to buy a premiership RWA and the EWF cant.... ! But a couple of good solid sigbings will see bums on seast for sure.
State govt budget.... dont hold ya breathe..... RWA and Glory should start sitting down and doing it without govt intervention.... look at the crap at the entertainmant centre
