I'm comfortable with my call on both.

That was the comment I was making, whilst I disagree with your call, I don't question your consistency.....If you were the ref I'd be comfortable (not happy but comfortable) the only saving grace in this situation is that I don't think it was the same ref for both incidents, however there should be more consistency than this.
