TOCC the reds will get there what ever happens they are the best team in the comp (not necessary will win it) and the best ambassadors for the game.

If they could manage to play the rest of the season (including finals) like they played last weekend ..... I couldn't see anyone getting past them. But it is a pretty high standard to maintain. And if we can't be there, then let the Reds prevail!!

BDavey jjk you said the exact same thing in 2 posts in this forum alone, its quite obvious Mitch Inman Sam Harris is a favourie player of yours and your backing of him is cool but unfortunately Inman Harris doesn't offer that much, actually when the Super 14 season is over he will probably be playing reserve grade for Sydney Uni with Halangahu at 10, Barnes at 12 and Tom Carter at 13 and Alfi Mafi and Peter Betham on the wings. God knows where because he's a mug

Sorry to take the pi$$ but Harris has been pedestrian every time he's had a shot other than the Highlanders game, where the opposition were a bloodied pulp before he got on. Inman, however has taken every opportunity given him and has genuinely beat Cross out of the #13 (Cross has beaten Harris to his preferred position in that move)

If Harris is so good, and you're so good at reading Mitch's mind why isn't Harris at 12 and Cross at 13 with Inman wearing a suit!

Especially as Harris has played more of his Super 14 career considered as a #12 not a #10 Gigs...

I have no agenda against Harris and was encouraged by his signing however, he hasn't performed and has had a horror error rate for this level of Rugby.
I know he CAN play better but I just can't see it happening this season.

As for Inman, for a debut season he has out performed many of the long termers. In an ordinary season that may not be saying a lot but he has certainly held his own and his a great prospect for the future once we sort out reliable service from the Forward to the Outside Backs.

This week I feel Sheps may go back to 15 and JOC into 12 to open some gaps for Inman to show his force Spanner and Cummins on the wings.... there is no room for Crossy in my 15

I think the Force matchup a lot better against the crusaders then against the blues and chiefs, thus why im pretty optimistic of a win or at least make the saders work hard for a victory.

With most guys back from injury for the tour of south africa im pretty confident we can at least get 3/4 wins in the run to the season end.

4/4 is on the cards! If we can win the next 3 matches away where would that place us on the table by season end?

Only question mark is on defence. Gets a little lost at times but he's playing the hardest position to defend and has hardly had the same two team mates beside him two weeks running. He'll have learned a hell of a lot from this year and will be much better for it.

I think that is the key in judging him shasta, it is a damn hard position to master and he is only in his first Super season.
Comparing him to the efforts of a (former ) Wallaby and I think he comes out well on top.
