I tipped my 17, actually. Was mighty mad about that non try of the stupid winger's at the end. I still cleaned up but. Now to reclaim my rightful place - First!!

James was fantastic with his kicking but his attack left me a little stumped at times. Turner was fabulous. Pocock and Hodgo were real standouts - Brownie seemed quieter than the other two.

Kudos to Jonker - I thought he had a rather good game. I was very impressed with all the cards he handed out, feels like every other ref has a jammed zipper on their pockets.

A kick in this game is like a rather nasty alcoholic shooter, only as good as it's chaser...

I actually do have a negative post to be serious, and honest.

Why don't we have the gold & black away strip? And if it has to be blue/white, why can't it be white with blue 'hoops?

Negative posts I don't think so. Especially not from the Cross knockers. Hill is starting to control things like the good player he is. Had an excellent match and my MOM. The combinations are starting to grow. Sam Harris showed what he can do as an impact player from the bench - which is the role he was contracted to play. Bart looked good again. There was still plenty of errors in execution in the first half but they are improving week to week. The scrum was solid yet again. The breakdown was not so good and the boys looked very vulnerable to the counter-ruck. Jonker had a good game, consistent right through - can't ask more than that.

    Welcome back Shep.

    HAH! im going negative...

we got smashed at the breakdown...

after that! please note i put all my vDollars on the force to win, so i had faith, much better game, thoguh against a much lower opponent. We just need to work on ball retention, we really did get out muscled.

good on the boys, was really happy to see them get up!

I think we were matched at the breakdown for the first 40, but were the better team in the rucks for the secont 40.

I agree that the HIghlanders put everything they had into the breakdown and we lost quite a few turnovers there, however they regularly committed EVRYBODY they had to securing a turnover and that's why they lost, they didn't win enough ball and lightened their line in the attempt. I'd say our breakdown was sufficient given the pressure they applied.

Cross was good, but I still thought not what he could be, not sure why.

Attack looked VERY tentative in the first half, almost as if they were looking for a boot to drop, when it didn't eventuate, the boys seemed to lift, the confidence will be great, and the Blues aren't currently matching the Stormers, there's no reason why we couldn't go three from three!

It was probably a good thing being backfooted at the breakdown by the Highlanders (but obviously still winning well). Will make sure we are better prepared to face the Blues. We can't afford to give away that many turnovers with the kind of backs they have and there will be a few lessons learnt from that one.

Great game by the Force. Pretty hard to chose a man of the match. I agree that Hill had a great game but I thought James O'Connor deserves that one. Scored a try- was great with the boot and at receiving kicks and was dangerous on attack.

Crossy had a great game too. Aggressive when he took the ball up and over the advantage line each time.

I disagree about the ref, I thought Jonker had it in for us, and Sharpie in particular, on a few plays. Still, if we score the tries, he has to award them!

That was a try - hitting the corner post when you're in the air isn't out.

    Great win by the boys
