but of course all of those mates would change allegiance to the third WA AFL team the instant it is named!

This is a joke, Perth doesn't need more AFL, Melbourne is suffering from the oversupply, and now Perth wants to perpetuate this??????

AFL should continue the expansion idea, putting teams into new markets in an effort to truly nationalise their competition.....they should also provide a suitable facility in Perth to cater for the membership of the local clubs......They should put at least SOME of their own money into the project, since the facilities are going to net virtually NOTHING for the taxpayer......any taxpayer who uses the facility will be paying the same price for a ticket as a taliban suicide bomber!

Just so everything's clear, the previous post is me talking what I think is good business sense.

I actually think the AFL should liquidate all their assets, donate the cash to the ARU and disband the code entirely, to be replaced by a better one.

I guess that's not terribly likely though.

The Bell Tower is also "Heritage Listed" and that is also crap and hardly architecturally outstanding but that is not the criteria for being "Heritage Listed"

They are smarter then the average Collingwood supporter but they still meet the criteria for a disability pension on mental grounds
