Some rumours on Cooper

On Rugby Club tonight, Marto and Jeremy Ponce were slagging the prospect of Cooper moving to the Force - "why would he even think of going THERE?".

Yeah, that was my initial reaction when Marto said it - but then he qualified it by saying he's playing outside the best fly half in Super Rugby ie, Will Genia so why would you move from that.

AGREE 100% why would he come here to the unknown with JM, leave Genia no brainer but I am not too sure how many brains Cooper has?

Matt Giteau came to Perth on the back of being promised butt loads of cash and playing with a friend. No reason why Cooper wouldn't do that same. Hopefully if he did it would be a more positive experience for all involved. Everyone was raving on about how Quade Cooper should definitely stay and repay the loyalty that the Reds showed to him but thats bollocks really. If it wasn't in the Reds best interest they wouldn't've done it.

The Force are far from being a bad team. We have had a bit of a dysfunctional backline and our backrow hasn't been as strong as it should be but thats mostly down to injury. If Shepherd and/or Andre Pretorius hadn't been injured (yeah I know they are two fairly big ifs) we would be in very different place on the table than we are now.

yeah and it's not as if we have a dysfunctional forward pack. Maybe he sees the potential in the backline too

Sooky was half the problem when he was at the Reds. As is now clear, the Reds' attitude has dramatically improved since he has left.

The truth is that nothing is clear until after his court case. I would be stunned if he left the Reds.

My opinion of them slipped even more when they were laughing about the Reds donation scheme whilst in the republic.

The Reds have said they will donate a goat to a village for every try they score and another if they score 4 or more. Goats to a poverty stricken malnutrition village are an awesome animal. They eat weeds and scrub and they supply milk and meat. What the F!@# is so funny about that you twats?

Good on the Reds for there support and raising awareness!
