I didn't see the match but Valentine must have had one hell of a match to keep Sheehan out!?
Likewise the Brumbies #13 must have been pretty ordinary to let Horne in, didn't do much for me, even if he was (marginally) better than Cross.

It may be just my opinion but its a sad day for Australian rugby when Stephen Hoiles is the stand-out No. 8. He just doesn't seem to have the size, mongrel or go-forward - hope it doesn't gets to the stage where injuries mean he will be playing there for the wallabies.....

I thought Ben McClaman and Richard Stanford played really well on Sat nite and were more noticeable than the Tahs lose forwards (bar Waugh) but Hodsie ouclassed him big time. Tyrell was agreat fine but these two I hope we keep for the future. I thought our front row were ok.... just got the blame for the ref's incompetence

If I were Deansy I'd play a backrow of 6. Higginbotham 7. Pocock 8. Elsom with Hodgson on the bench. Maximum aggression, great ball carrying ability, great in the line-out.

Matt Hodgson is a legend, he gives his all on the field and always looks exhausted at the end of the game. Deans had better include him in the Wallabies squad, he won't find anyone with a bigger heart (except Sharpie of course)

spanner was completley buggered when he walked around the field after he came off.
but he was still good enough to thank the fans who clapped for him as he went past.

he deserves his spot there this week
PLEASE give him another contract RWA
