If you are trying to "get away from the force" and talk about the "wallabies", why is this in the subforum and not in the Wallabies subforum?

Also i'm pretty sure Sharpie and Pocock are players.

well no, Ben Robinson would replace Shepherson, Robinson is the best loosehead prop in this country which makes it strange that you would move him to tighthead. Al Baxter is arguably the form tighthead prop in this country, but i would still take Ben Alexander over Baxter since he has proven himself at tighthead.

And no i wouldnt put Higgenbottam at lock to replace Chisolm, Higgenbottam is actually a backrower, Chisolm has been average this year, the NSW lock are miles ahead, Mumm and Douglas are in better form.

This is my team if the wallabies were chosen today

    15 AAC
    14 Mitchell
    13 Ioane
    12 Giteau
    11 Turner
    10 Cooper
    9 Genia
    8 Palu
    7 Pocock
    6 Elsom [c]
    5 Mumm
    4 Douglas
    3 Alexander
    2 Moore
    1 Robinson

    16 TPN
    17 Weeks
    18 Chisholm
    19 Hodgson
    20 Burgess
    21 Barnes
    22 Hynes

I would have included Sharpie for his experience and also his commitment at the breakdown

The Wallabies line-out was abhorrent in the end of year tour without Sharpie. Besides you can't blame him too much for the Force's current line-out woes or for the performance of the team. Fact is he is still the best line-out technician in Australia at the moment. Gotta pair him with Mumm based on form.

Definitely think Cooper should be the 10. It's time we had a bit of excitement in the Wallabies for a while. Giteau just doesn't inspire in the same way Larkham did or Cooper has been.

I don't think Elsom would make the starting 15 on his current form

Pretty good team. I think I'd look to push Rabbit in there somewhere, his current form is more as a result of being pushed into every hole the Force have on the park and not being given a decent crack at anything. I might even consider him in 15 with AAC playing the utility back role I know that'd push Hynes out (more than likely) but Barnes might be the one to go, given that Rabbit, Quade and Gits can all play 12 (and to a lesser extent 10) maybe there's more to gain by holding onto the speed. Hynes and Drew would surely be bracketed, because they are both really specialist wingers and you can't afford too many of them in the modern game. (yeah yeah I know you'll reply pointing to the awesome games Hynes has been playing at fullback this season, and the crap JOC has been playing but in the long run MHO is that JOC is a better all-around option!

I wouldn't name Chis even on the bench, Sharpie and Mumm would be my picks...not so much based on form, more that the Wallabies sucked ass without Sharpie and I don't think we're any better unless Horwill magically grows another knee. I'd also statr TPN ahead of Moore, who has simply looked pedestrian this season, at least TPN is making stuff happen!

Sorry, but until JO'C proves he can take a front on tackle I wouldn't even have him in the Squad at this stage, I have been really disappointed with his defence this season so far.
