Amusing moment after last weekend's game

Had a funny moment after the game on Sat. I decided to wander down to the fence and say gday to Spanner and thank him for coming back. He was doing the good thing and signing some autographs and talking to some people etc

I was behind this young lad of about 8yo who offered Spanner his linebreak mag opened to the page of Richard Stanford. The young lad says "Can I please have your autograph" to which Spanner replies "this isn't me". The poor lad had a confused look on his face and then said "autograph?" in a small voice. Spanner then chuckles and says "I'm not in your magazine - I only turned up this week!" and then, with a massive grin on his face, promptly signed the back of the mag to the delight of the youngster. I then heard the young lad ask his dad "Who was that guy?"

Richard Stanford was actually standing next to Spanner while this was going on, waiting to sign the kid's Linebreak next. His look was pretty priceless too...
