    So far so good!

Halftime at Wellington and as opposed to last week's performance the Force are really taking it to them.
Excellent play from them so far, hope it continues in the 2nd half.
Good all round play from everyone against a team that will fancy themselves in this one. That might be their downfall???

Doubt the Canes will be so naive in the 2nd half but here's hoping - what about Josh

Tattupu's defence has been a bit of a let down.

Agreed. Dane H-P and J O'C are both performing very well. I'm still feeling totally let down by Harris's role at the moment; not to mention his two kick attempts have, again, been a detriment to our attack.

Defensively we've been fairly substandard I thought? . Plenty of missed tackles...

Hunt made an impact in attack when he came on.
DHP had a blinder of a game.
Inman and McCalman were noticeable in their work rate.
O'Young pushed for a starting spot against Sheehan and it was good to see Tyrrell and Stanford giving it a go.

Wasn't to be. But hell you can't fault the guys for their effort and commitment this week.
A few problems to iron out, but a lot of good signs also.
If there is such a thing as losing well, this was it.
Compliments to the debut players also.

    Sharpie comments
!st haf and 1st 10 of the 2nd he said was good but to many misse tackles
reckons will regroup he praised the young guys
4 guys on debut with on field time will make good players of them
Yes the only negative I can see is the positioning of Sam Harris having to take a role he is not use to
A good player out of position not a bad player.

My men of the match JOC and Dane Hp

What was with the ref not using the new interps and letting the canes lay on the ball?

Then having different timing for each scrum?

I'd rather have an Afrikaan reffing it than that clown.

And what's with players (I'm looking at you Jane, and especially you David Smith) doing gang signs and other wankery after scoring a try?
We'll leave that to the league players thanks all the same.
It doesn't make you look cool it makes you look like a wanker!

The ref cautioned the Canes at one points for being offside and lying on the off side and informed them of a red card what happened to that

I am not being nasty or 1 eyed force supportter but a red card warning is the final chat and Hore took his players to the huddle and spoke to them but it just carried on and I cant believe the penalty count asgainst the canes yet no binning

MES will be alive Friday night with the supports and i hope the Boys will teach the Chiefs a thing or 2

Too right. Makes you wonder about losing bonus points such as the one the Lions took last night.

Still some glaring misreads in midfield defense, along with a couple of straight out 1-on-1 misses. But 16 misses to 8 is at least an improvement on last weeks stats. The usual cliche applies though; plenty of positives from the game. Hopefully Spanner & Cross are available to shore up that midfield next week.

I wonder if the coaches will be a little more confident of playing DHP at the back? He was solid today.

Lost cause of the week. DHP on his pat, trying to stop Tialata on the goal line.
