Where are the Force staying in Jo'burg?

Hey guys,

As you can see I live in Zimbabwe. I am off to Jo'burg this weekend to see the Force in action against the Cats. I am wondering what hotel the guys use in Jo'burg? Would be good to meet them before/after the game.

The Cats are crap so I expect us to win this one. Still Ellis Park is an itimidating experience for an visiting team, so it won't be easy.

Anyone else travelling across on SAA to watch the game. We can meet up for a drink in Jo'burg. There are plenty of good and safe places.

Am keeping the faith.

I can't answer your question Uncle Bob but fantastic to see we will have at least one supporter there to hopefully witness our first victory!

The Force is strong in this one......Use the force uncle bob, and your cheers will drown out the Cats. If, actually, when the Force win, you will be holding the flame for all of us who can`t make it so cheer like you`ve never cheered before. Perhaps, as there probably wont be too many force supporters there, then perhaps you will make the big screen. You should make a sign man.....Keeping the faith comes to mind

Do you guys realise that it's legal to carry weapons in South Africa. These Afrikaaners are dangerous, especially when their rugby side is getting thrashed! I went to a practise game in Cape Town in Janurary (I was there on holiday) between Stomers and Bulls and the fans were just feral. Made Collingwood supporters look like angels!

I never thought there would be worse supporters( bogans) than Collingwood, Uncle Bob. But they are South African. Get that sign made, and Lonzy will probably love you forever.....judging from her last post. Calm down girl, hehehehe. At least we acknowledge there are other codes, unlike the Afl`s fans, who seem to think the sun shines out of its arse. I appreciate other codes, and actually enjoy some of it, but when you talk to an AFL fan they seem to think that because they are so popular with lots of aussies( mostly Victorians), that our game ( the one that is played in heaven) is not as good a spectacle. What a load of sh#!.....Rugby can be played by all shapes and sizes; how many Front row forwards would have a chance of playing AFL???? Or our pretty boy backs, they`re not always tall, but geez they have guts when making big hits, or running it up. They`d smash `em in a physical confrontation, (if they`d stop posing hehehehe). Anyhow, thats my rant over

lol well I dont know ... my dad was one of those said AFL fans ... but I dragged him along to a rugby game ... and well .... he enjoyed it! and I was actually suprised because he was entusiastic about going when I left for work in the morning!! lol but he has been showing an intrest in the rugby since then which is good! dont think he will become a jersey bearing supporter but he may get out to more games lol and he is victorian lol!! ahahaha makes me laugh ... but I guess the victorians are gonna be even more sour seeings as though we got the super 14 team muhahaha and besides they already have heaps of teams over there!! greedy greedy greedy lol **apologise to any victorians**
