    We are only talking modified rules here. Australia (well Qld & NSW anyway) are unique in the Rugby playing countries in that RL is the dominant code by a good stretch and that there are two other strong codes vying for the juniors. Hopefully, in the professional era, the CEO's would be pragmatic enough to see the benefits and convince the conservatives.

    The schools may provide greatest cooperative benefit to the two codes. Combining the pool of development officers/equipment could widen the net exponentially. Eventually the Wallabies and the S14 franchises would likely be the biggest beneficiaries and the NRL would be probably be holding up nicely as well.
