    QLD Reds start 'twittering'

Reds formally opened there own Twitter and Facebook accounts earlier this week, plan to upload regular videos and photos as well as 'twitter' status updates.

Good to see the QRU taking advantage of the social networking option, its practically free publicity and keeps the fans in touch. If anything its a couple of years late, but Ewen McKenzie is a well known 'twitterer' and probably a driving force behind it.

i can't wait untill the season starts:

"Unlucky loss today for the players, all are looking forward to next week"

''Another unlucky loss, keep comming to our games please''

''Sorry about that loss, half price tickets next week, please come''

''The Lions are a very good side, a draw is a good result, please buy membership, Digby wants another hair cut''

Seriously though, good idea twitter, facebook and youtube are all good adversing that every club should have.
