A New Zealand rugby writer's team of the decade has found room for plenty of All Blacks

First Five-Eighth: Daniel Carter (New Zealand)
Halfback: Fourie du Preez (South Africa)
    No 8: Lawrence Dallaglio (England)
Openside Flanker: Richie McCaw (New Zealand)
Blindside Flanker: Juan Smith (South Africa)
Locks: Victor Matfield (South Africa) and
    Martin Johnson (England)

    Pretty handy selection.
I think if Giteau had stayed at #12 he would have been an automatic selection there, with possibly only Latham and Vickerman the only others for any real argument for selection from an Australian perspective. George Smith would definately be on the bench as probably would be Gregan and Larkham.
Juan Smith is a very good player but he doesn't strike me as THE BEST of the last ten years and there would have to be some pretty strong NH competition for the Loosehead.
I imagine apart from #3, 4, 5, 7, 10 there would be lengthy debate around the Rugby globe for different positions.
