Phil Godman is back at stand-off for Edinburgh's Heineken Cup clash with Bath on Sunday.

Hooker Ross Ford and wing John Houston also return to the visitors' line-up, with David Blair, Andrew Kelly and Mark Robertson dropping out.

Edinburgh currently sit third in Pool 4, with Bath propping up the section and still looking for their first win.

"We have to win the game and that is an exciting challenge for us," said Edinburgh head coach Rob Moffat.

"We've got two games against Bath followed by two derbies against Glasgow, so we've got four really important matches coming up which will shape our season.

"Every game is important for us, but we know that if we don't win at Bath then it will be incredibly difficult to achieve anything in Europe this season.

"I really like these double-headers because sometimes you have to wait a few months before you play the same opposition.

"Phil (who was rested last week) had played a lot of rugby - both in the November Tests for Scotland and in the months leading into those games.

"He wasn't complaining, but sometimes I think you only realise just how tired you are sometimes when you have a break.

"David did well and he is on the bench this week, so we know we can rely on him when needed and we are looking forward to Phil playing."
