I seem to remember someone making comment that its likely we'll start seeing more Africans coming over to play for the force...
I believe Swanepoel is number 6?

    Pocock - Zimbabwe
    Haylett Petty - SA
    Zeigler - Zimbabwe
    Pretorius - SA
    Turner - SA

O Connor has South African heritage as well i believe

no doubt this will increase as life becomes more difficult over there (and it will)...

My understanding is that Heritage (whilst there is no other word) might be too strong, I think a grandmother or great grandmother. He qualifies for the Boks so ...........

yeah, well my dads from south africa, but see myself entirely as an australian, so heritage doesn't always count.

That's great. Your Dad's done his job well. As long as WA's immigrant fathers continue to steer their sons towards the light, the growth will continue and their sons will grow up to be Wallabies

    He qualified to play for:
    Australia - born here
South Africa - Grandmother was born there
New Zealand - both parents born there
(and I also read somewhere) England - Grandfather born there

    Correct - Heritage doesn't count
I am more Australian than most born Aussies and I was born in South Africa.
Just because my birth cert says born in South Africa doesn't make me a Saffer
If that's the case, then George Gregan is not an Aussie he would be Zambian

Bit of a stretch for any of them except Pretorius to say they are coming over to play Rugby as well isn't it?
The rest are here because of their parents, not their career choices.
Regardless, the more the merrier, I think it's great.

I thought it was Ireland that O'Connor qualified for. Or maybe that was some kind of bad joke because his last name has an O'.
