the bombers home strip is black with a red sash...away strip is black with a slightly bigger red sash

Away strips constantly changing is a good way to ensure good sales as shown by AFL sides' sales figures (biggest selling item for many clubs)

I like the new look...I never liked the away strip...going to canberra with a yellow top looked ridiculous as brumby supporters had their yellow hats on anyway...I'm with force blue on everything! Even the rashie...

I like the original home strip (blue and black).

Sure, "gold and black" are the "state colours" - though , you don't see other professional clubs from Perth in other national sports wearing gold and black to represent Perth either, do you?. Perth Glory is purple/white, Fremantle Dockers are purple/white (mostly), West Coast are blue/gold, Wildcats are black/red...

The Western Force blue/black is awesome.

However, I agree that the new away strip is questionable. It does look like a 'rashie' as someone else said earlier. Certainly, its colours are more identifiable with the Force (in my opinion); as it sticks with the blue theme (as opposed to interchanging blue with gold).

Let's see how it looks when the whole team take the field in the alternate strip. You never know, as a full side, it might look quite good. *shrug*.

I'd still like this to be our home top and exactly the same but blue and black for the away top. Black shorts and hooped socks as well.

One thing for damn sure - anyone went for traditional hoops, the colour is almost irrelevant as you just couldn't clash with the opposition. In fact, if SANZAR wanted to stick an oar in, what I would like to see would be a mandated Home team in hoops, Away team in solids.

They'd still find a way to faff around with it. St George never got rid of their classic "red-V" jersey but it still looks nothing like it did in their glory days.
