My favourite memories involve the reaction of the WAFC shock troops after we got nigh on 2500 signatures for a 'proper rectangular stadium' outside gate 8

(the next week, we weren't allowed on the oval side of the road!)

most of the memories had something to do with hanging shit on them at the top of my lungs from the opposite side of the road......to which they could do nothing, because once they left their side of the road we were just two private citizens having a loud conversation.

8500 signatures of people who thought the ground was shit!

the list is pretty long actually

one good one was the 'landers win!

    Best memories of Subi....?

    • Having my older sister there for the first couple of home games (that's why I got 2 memberships!).
    • The draw against the Crusaders (thankfully I hadn't met Mrs Jedi by then....otherwise there might not be a wedding in 2 weeks!).
    • Moving seats in season 2 to join the inner quorum of The InnFORCErs (aka JB's drinking buddies).
    • First home win with Cam's post-siren conversion from the sideline.
    • And last, but not least......my first date with Mrs Jedi when we went to the rugby....this was the great comeback vs Brumbies (yes, I was in the corporate box with Coach, TiF and Slomo........and Mrs Jedi was up in my seats with a girlfriend.....awesome!!!).

The Sharks game in 2007 - first force game my Daddy took me to. Fantastic rugby from everyone, what a game.
    Brumbies 2008.
The players coming around after EVERY game. Regardless of score.
The AJ cries that you hear everytime he does ANYTHING. He was the best.

A kick in this game is like a rather nasty alcoholic shooter, only as good as it's chaser...

Every game I went to since 2006..some were crappy, some disappointing; stadium sucked; beer was shit/expensive; and I had too many steps to climb to get to the nose bleeders section (try that on crutches and trying to carry a beer).

At the end of it, though, there will be some affection for Subiaco, it was afterall where a few thousand of us came together and declared "Super 14 for Perth" (or words to that effect).

All of the above, thanks for the memories folks.....a few of them brought a tear back.

I reckon the thing that sticks in my mind is the passion of the supporters...even though we never sold it out we still shook the joint.

    Other than the obvious matches...

The rally and what it led to.

The players day they had at the ground and the look on the nephews faces at a) being on the field and b) realising just how far off it Sharpey stood.

A friend having to take his kids home because the crowd was "way too loud", despite them having attended a WCE finals match there the year before without a problem.

Oh, and listening to the lads behind us having a robust discussion with a Force member in Sharks gear (and particularly a very passionate "If you don't like it here, why don't you f*** off back where you came from?" said in the broadest of South African accents).

The intial rally with people forming "Super 14 for Perth", the first game against the Brumbies and the amount of people who closed their eyes and just couldn't watch Shepherd making that kick for our first win!

    Another couple::

Not so much the first match against the Crusaders (as that is a given), but listening to the crowd walking home from that match

Saying hi the following week to the folk that left after Gopperth scored for the Hurricanes

The best memory was walking back to the train station after that first win over the canes.

The feeling of excitment in the crowd was palpable and jovial. Even the canes fans were good spirited, although ferral.

Nights like that make you go back and back and back....

Also when Gits got his block knocked off and costa rolled him into the recovery position. Great sportsmanship.

Canes' game- even the Tah fans (aka my parents) got caught up in the excitement of that one- being in the crappy cheap seats behind the goals was worth it to see that conversion headed in my direction.
