Shep will be a Wallaby starter if he has an uninjured S14 season next year. If not at 15 then definitely on the wing. He has a monster boot and is a brilliant finisher. He is far and away a better all round player than Drew Mitchell and Lachie Turner. Again if uninjured he'll play 15 at the Force since its unlikely JO'Cs recent experiences have him keen to play 15. People forget how well Cam Shepherd played in 2006 and 2007. Whichever one of AAC and Cam Shepherd plays 15 the other will play wing. Someone should make a vbook.

I don't think it is a bad thing that he is now unavailable for this tour and I also don't think it will be the last time we see him in the Wallabies.
IMHO there is no doubt he is by far our best option at #13 and especially with the #10/#12 playmaker style.
Likewise, when fit Shep is clearly the best #15 in Australia and also brings long range goal kicking to the table (as does Mortlock).

Refering to 2008 v England game on 10 right now, Mortlock was in fine form. Is anyone hitting guys in tackles like he did in that game at the moment?

Then he had the head clash against Wales and it all went pear shaped injury wise.

Great centre in his day but he'll never be as good as he was.

Take up a contract in Europe or Japan, earn the cash while you can. Your green and gold days are gone.
