HMAS Brisbane would be a good choice, given it's convenient location.

For directions just follow this link:

Will Tim actually end up in Jail?

Or was Firepower just speculative and risky with the potential of great rewards?

Perhaps Firepower had honest intentions to list etc, but perhaps they ran out of money to develop or the contracts dried up before the Firepower pill was ready for market?

Just playing devils advocate here, but surely his legal defence will be based on him intending on taking the pill to market and simply running out of captital with certain contracts or KPI's not being met etc.

There is probably some basis in truth there too.

People lose vast amounts of money everyday on speculative investments, is this much different once you take the hearsay out?

This case (if there is one) might be interesting...

Assuming it goes to court and is publicised, it will certainly be an interesting case...

On the stand for what exactly?

This is the problem, has he actually committed a crime, or did he just oversell his business?

Those that did invest money were (I would assume) over the age of 18, were not drunk or insane and probably had an idea they were backing a risky and unprecedented investment.

Business's fail almost daily from under delivering. Products not being ready for market and sometimes products that just don't work. It happens in mining all the time, the experts go in and say the claim is worth a punt etc, and no gold. That is not illegal.

Lets not forget too, there was no arrest warrant out for Tim, just several govt depts wanting to chat with him. And of course the liquidators wanting to chat with him. Nothing terribly new there, that's what happens when a business fails.

I think he may get a knuckle wrap for some very hard to prove impropriety, he will be probably made bankrupt. But I think that may be it.

They tell me there are good banks in Switzerland!

Read the book... many inside people came forward to have their say... Some had on choice as Tim left them holding the keys to the business… But now Tim Johnston is cheese spread on toast; fatty, yellow and tasteless... But he has executed a great daisy chain scam and will likely keep most of the cash as it will be to hard for the authorities to find. Just like the honourable Alan Bond and family... I'm just hoping the Russians just step in and buy him the long cruise... In the early days he was selling shares and didn’t even keep a list of investors…

I'm with Bronksi on this, there are lots of checks and balances in Corporate to govern the issuance of shares. If a person is greedy enough to ignore those and gets burnt....bad luck.

Bet there was lots of words like "ground floor"
