    Reds Memberships Now On Sale

Season Memberships are now on sale for the QR Reds' seven Investec Super 14 home matches in 2010, which includes the first Super Rugby match at Ballymore since 2005.

Six of the Reds' seven home games - including the opening round blockbuster against arch rivals the NSW Waratahs on Saturday, February 13 - will be played at Suncorp Stadium, recently voted the best rugby venue in the southern hemisphere.

The seventh - the week three clash against New Zealand's Blues on Saturday, February 27 - will now become a sentimental "back to Ballymore" night due to a scheduling conflict at Suncorp Stadium. It’s expected to be a full house.

The 2010 draw for the Reds, confirmed today by the competition organiser SANZAR, includes two Friday night home games and a Sunday afternoon home match - all at Suncorp.

Season memberships for the red hot seven home game package start at $150 for students or just $170 for the limited capacity 18+ RedLounge area, to the new top of the range Ruby double membership at $1,900, which includes same seat tickets for the Springbok and Ireland test matches in 2010.

The 2010 packages again include ‘kids free’ with the "RedTribe" family membership options, where a family of four - two adults and two children 15 and under - can enjoy a night out at the rugby for less than a trip to the movies. Family memberships start at $430 (or $380 for renewing members if renewed before September 18).

Reds season game memberships also come with a host of other benefits, including a bonus of free entry to a planned pre-season trial match at Ballymore.

Led by in-form Wallabies James Horwill, Will Genia, Peter Hynes and Quade Cooper, and welcoming back from long-term injury fellow internationals like dynamic outside back Digby Ioane, the experienced Morgan Turinui and former All Black flanker Daniel Braid, the Reds are shaping up as a team with real pace and strike-power, especially out wide.

The Reds will welcome two new faces to the senior squad in 2010 - flanker Lei Tomiki who’s been playing in France and Melbourne Storm rugby league sensation Will Chambers - along with newly graduated QAS Reds Academy outside back Luke Morahan, who made a brief but impressive debut for the Reds in 2009 before suffering a season-ending shoulder injury.

That Ruby Double would have to be good value, assuming good seats in the first place?
