    I think he's not the most competent ref going around by a good margin but was pretty even handed. I'll just add one point where I thought he wasn't. That was in the area of advantage. At least twice I thought Australia had to make pressured kicks after ZA knock-ons and he called advantage over immediately. Where's the advantage in that? Both times ZA gained a territorial edge from poor kicks. One I thought had to be taken a good 10m behind the point of the original infringement. I thought he allowed ZA a few liberal ones by comparison.

    Mmm. I was starting to think maybe I was getting Alain Rolland and Alan Lewis mixed up. I remember the last time I saw him (whichever one him is) he was erratic and crazy but I made my promise and I'll stick by it.
