Its not as if it was the only sporting match in Sydney.

Not to mention the fact that the whole week we were there, we saw more Brumbies supporters than Tahs.

Easter show goes for about 3 weeks over there!

Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

Towards the end of last Saturday's clash at the SFS I said in commentary that it's going to be a great win for the Western Force but not a good result for Australian rugby. - GREG CLARKE
Yeah I heard that. I remember having a clear mental picture at the time too. Greg Clarke getting gravel rash on his bottom lip.

If you want to talk sports markets in relation to the number of elite level teams in the various football codes compared to population, Sydney is not the toughest. Melbourne is and we all pale by comparison.

But straight unweighted averages like that don't mean a lot. There are more Rugby fans in NSW per head of population than any other state except probably Qld. It's just that they are piss weak. Your still dragging your bottom lip, Clarkie. You are also failing to explain it away. Producer have a word in your ear?

As a sports fan, I love league and union.

There were a number of options to go to that night. I knew the tahs were playing boring rugby, so I could very well have gone to a league game. If you're spoilt for choice, of course the crowds will be diluted.

I think the Greg Clarke comment can be probably paired with the John Mitchell post match comment for intent.
