    who's tipping the force

I decided to have a quick look at Rugbyheaven to see who's tipping the force this weekend and despite my surprise that Greg 'where's mah pies' Growden has the tipped to pip the tahs it was my dismay at the fact that there was a tippster called 'Quokka' that caused me to pause in the act of eating my lunch.

and anyone who knows me would be shocked as it takes a hell of a lot to stop me from eating, especially a delightful thai green curry, but I digress.

Are the lovely people at the SMH one trick ponies? Do they not understand that one of those fined over the incident now plays for the 'tahs and that the other is a certainty for Wallabies selection again this year? Do we continually harp on about Tiquiri's previous mobile phone blunders or hotel room shenanigans? What will it take for them to understand that this was a lame joke the first time and is now beyond boring and in to the realms of bad taste?

To the 'journos' at the SMH I can only say 'Pick up the act please people"

that reminds me I have to do my tips

The foxsports crew are often the same, all tipping against the Force every week

The Reds game they all tipped the Reds, despite the Reds not having won away from home in years.

This week they have all gone for Tahs except for Rod Kafer

I pointed out the Quokka thing in the first week of tipping.

    http://twf.com.au/showthread.php?t=20296

All the previous weeks the tip has been "Not the Force"...seems that was getting tired and they changed it.

    Pretty disrespectful IMHO.

I didnt notice that one the first time around... that's pathetic.

Rugby Heaven should be thoroughly embarrassed.

I've seen it before as well TG I'm just surprised they are continuing with it.

I mean small minds may have found it funny to begin with but now it's just pathetic.

I have written to the Rugby Club on numerous occasions complaining of their bias..and they are absolutely HOPELESS at calling a game..I think they love the sound of their own voices...they certain don't call the game that's in front of them...I feel really sorry for any fan who can't actually see the game for whatever reason ......Sickening!! They could all learn, and I can't believe I am actually putting this in print...but the South African commentators at least call what's in front of them..with no obvious bias...

Frankly, I'm surprised you'd waste your time. The Rugby Club is the most boring TV show from any code. The same old boring crapheads and tired format as last year (and the year before, and the year before........). The same tired old schoolboy Rugby "humour". Someone please tell Phil Kearns that, despite his endless efforts, he is NOT funny and is there to talk seriously about Rugby at which he is barely passable.

There are a couple of people on there who have a sense of humour, Marto, Tony Jones and Waren Brosnihan. Chocolates for whoever can name which Perth team Warren Brosnihan played with.

You'd be talking the loose version of "rugby" then...

Didn't mention one. It was meant to be a trick question.

Tips Force by 10, Gits will stick it up them. We will get too much ball through Pocock and Browny and our unsung hero Hodgy

Given the standard of content on "Rugby Heaven", I think it would take a LOT to embarrass them.

Having just read an article from (I think) the Australian, which said that Phil Waugh will be responsible for containing both Bam and Gits, I think you might just be right....I also wonder who is playing 6 for the 'tahs tonight.....i understand the possibility that the 8 might do nothing for them, that'll be Cliff Palu, but I haven't heard much about any of their opensides going missing like that! If Phil Waugh has to play backrow alone like one of Palu's nothing games force by 12...if Palu turns up, our backline should be good enough to squeak through by a couple.

Let's go Force, the season's over if we lose this one!
