    Harden Up!

Anyone see the Tom Raudonikis interview on NRL on Fox last night? Another beauty from the all time classic Mungo. Tips an absolute bucket on Willie Mason and a couple of others who deserve it and picks out some underrated blokes who should be in Origin. Gives his usual straight opinion on why the game needs to get back to being a contest, to re-harden up and a few other of his other usual suspects.

Great stuff whether you are a League fan or not. Replays at 10:00 and 2:30 today.

Now I'm off to order my 2009 Cattledog T-Shirt.

I missed parts of it last night unfortunately, the replay will be being taped on the IQ at some stage. Good on him for getting stuck into Willie Mason, Big Willie is a poof

    I'm sure WRLF caught it

Nah missed it mate. I'll try to watch the replay but.

Mason will be off to Union pretty soon.

Where he will still be missing in action when the chips are down. If he has the brains to adapt to Rugby. Very doubtful.

Here is a funny thing - I have never liked Willie Mason.

But, he put his hand up to admitting he broke the Roosters no grog rules. He got dragged from First Grade and sent to play for the Newtown Jets.

Which he did so, as well as turned up early for training, stayed late for training helped promote the game, and helped the Jets earn a lot of extra cash they wouldn't normally get their hands on.

And when the press showed up - he showed a great deal of respect to the Newtown Club and their players.

Its hard not to like a bloke that does that.

I don't know Willie Mason and Tom Raudonikis said he doesn't know him either and he's probably a nice feller. The fact is, though, he plays like a champion when his team is on top and cruising. But when it's an arm wrestle and the team needs the big blokes to roll the sleeves up and grind out a win he's hard to spot. I thought that while he was at the Dogs and nothing he's done since has changed my mind.

I have felt the same way Shasta. I guess to qualify my comments above - I always thought that W.Mason was just out to look after W.Mason. His admittedly enforced dealings with the Newtown Jets did impress me.

Nah mate not a fan of his. The eighties and nineties I was a fan of individual players, too many to name as well. Nothing from this generation can hold a candle to those times and I'm not basing this on talent alone.

Besides Willie Mason, I'm a Bunnies fan.

Japan look out here comes Willy.

I'm telling ya he'll be next to go.

I'll have to search these posts to say I told you so.

he can go, I don't think anyone will care. Like I said in another post rumour is that the Roosters are looking to get rid of him.

I agree with Shasta, when his team is flying he is a champion. When his team is struggling he goes missing.

an hour ago you said he was off to Europe??

    It was humour

It'll be France, but the Japanese would love him.

I can't see a natural position for him in Union and he'll struggle.
