    Cows could still get milked at the same time, but the delivery folk try to pick it up an our earlier as he is on DLS time, so the farmer then has to milk the cows an hour earlier than usual for the delivery guy = upset cow.

    It's also the employee's that want to stay in synch with the rest of the world that put pressure on us to move milking times. Being an hour out of synch with the rest of the world is also a pain in the ass.

    Moving milking times, particularly the afternoon milking places additional heat stress on the cows since it is hotter, while we can take actions to help remedy the stress (high producing cows really suffer in the heat) it is far from ideal.
