1000 Not Out!

Well folks, this is my one thousandth posting!
To celebrate the milestone I've gone for a change of avatar, kudos to the first person to pick the new one (not counting Coach and Exile 'cause you already know ) and what the relevance might be.
Thanks to everyone who has contributed to this site throughout our short history and I look forward to many more people with a passion for the Western Force getting involved and putting their opinions forward.
As with a few of you, this is the first online forum that I have been a regular member or even occasional poster of and, to be honest, I never thought I'd see the day that I would be part of a "forum". I thought that was the domain of people like Coach
Speaking of Coach, a special thank you for getting the ball rolling for this fantastic forum and all that you have done along the way. We should all remember that a site such as this does not come without expense of one kind or another and in his own words Coach has carried most of that as his hobby.
I think that the time is now right that a few of us spread that expense so that we can really see this site kick on to be a treasure for all Western Force and Western Australian Rugby supporters.
For the cost of a couple of rounds at your local you can make a real difference and enhance the experience for all.
Contributors are recognised as their donation helps to make this such a vibrant and informative site.
Enough unsolicited begging for now, just look down the bottom of the page for the PayPal link if you find yourself using this site a lot and liking what you see.
I look forward to many seasons of sharing the good and bad times of the Western Force with you all and helping to build the best supporters website on the net.

Burgs having met you and shared a drink or 10 with you I think you should have gone with Obelix not because you are both big blokes but after seeing your prowess in collecting that lovely lady's telephone number it reminded me a lot of Obelix penchance for Wild Boar.

Beefix....very amusing. I used to have every single book...sad but true. Unfortunately they are all back in Scotland although I do get the new ones when they come out. (Had to look it up though.)
