    David Fitter for halfback

I was just watching the replay on Fox and noticed how much David Fitter was evident at the base of the breakdown late in the second half.

    Go the big guy

I think you would have to call him a scrum half Gerry!?
I noticed that about him last year with Sydney Uni too, he backs himself to get a decent pass away and others keep out of his way rather than challenging him for the role (I guess I would too!) and, let's face it, he couldn't do much worse than some of the usual suspects have
Also like the spirit of his pick and drive.
The big thing I picked up last night on TV was how after establishing pretty good mauls they all of a sudden just fell apart. Looked as if they were too "top heavy", fully concentrating on upper body and not looking where their feet were going.
Huge potential there though I think if they can allow the ball to come free before the maul falls apart.

There was one passage in the first half where they held the maul together about 10 short of the NSW line for quite some time, but weren't making much forward progress. That's where they need to release it and let the backs drop it again.....sorry......... have a dip at them. I'd have loved to see them drive it over but it just wasn't happening.

I thought the reversing of the scrum feed shortly after was a bit rough too, considering most of the NSW tight 5 were on the deck at the time.
