Angry What do you think of Gits's performance last night

Brumbies might not want him after last night performance.

He was running sideways bundling his backs into a corner and passing the ball to players in a worse of position than him.
Look at the stats at the score
    He missed 2 penalty goals.
He kicked the ball 17 times of which almost all of them went somewhere other than the touch line.( so far it is the most amount of kicks in one game this season)
He did not gain any meters at all!!He is the only five8 not to gain any this season so far
He only made one decent offload (and that did lead to a try)
There was only one line break in the whole game and that is the one leading to the try.

I think it was shocking. pretty much below average. If he plays like that against the top teams then we might as well use Scott Durada. At least he will try and break the line

I was thinking he was trying to do it all himself and any game plan he might have had wasn't known by those outside him.

It seemed that sometimes the other players weren't able to keep up with him. He offloaded very quickly, but there didn't always appear to be good options there.

Not sure what was going on sometimes... I'm going to have to watch the replay to get a better idea.

He might be part of the commitee and forgot to tell the team what the commitee plans are

Going on my previous comments posted on another thread, I said his defensive commitment was exceptional and I still think so without watching the televised replay. What I saw sitting behind the posts high in the 3rd tier stand on the western end was Gits making a significant number of tackles, in many cases, on cross-cover. I don't see too many flyhalfs doing the same.

Now, offensively I think it was a poor show from the team as a WHOLE. I acknowledge the backline attack is led by the flyhalf and as such the bulk of responsibility rests squarely on his shoulders. Having said that, our entire backline backs plus fowards (in the backline) are all static and flat. There is little movement, few players running at depth or at angles, no switches, no nothing, FLAT! No one seems willing to take the lead and make things happen.

Either the boys are uninspired by the coaching, their teammates or are just generally disinterested but their whole approach this season thus far has been blase. Somethings a miss and its ain't just Giteau's attack.
