EMIRATES WESTERN FORCE TO PLAY INTERNAL TRIAL ON FRIDAY

The Emirates Western Force squad will take to the field for the first time this year during an internal trial to be played at Harvey Field (Cottesloe RUFC) this Friday night.

The rugby will start at 5.00pm, when selected Club and Academy players partake in 10-a-side matches as part of the trial process for the Presidents XV vs Academy match (which will be the curtain raiser before the Crusaders trial next Friday, 23 January).

At 6.00pm, the Emirates Western Force Squad will play an internal trial of 3 x 20 minute periods during which the majority of the squad will have their first hit out of the season.

The Cottesloe Rugby club will be open for bar trade and will also have a barbeque going. All are welcome to attend.

I'm guessing the Bus won't get us there in time for this match?

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking, should be a good match. Of course, the pre-match drinks can just start that bit earlier...
Will have to track Coach down to get the ticket first.

Yeah, I would feel a little out of place

Though we are pretty out numbered these days, especially during half nude chicks drinking season.

Article in today's West about the game and Cam Shepherd - beaut photo of him kicking - Friday will be his first semicompetitive run he has just recovered from his injury and really wants to use the coming S14 to impress Robbie.

2 more weeks before Sharpie is fit for contact after his thumb injury.
