I have one like Pruc's.
My Mum did a law degree in Durban, and she was an article clarke and they rotate through all the jobs, and she always got the job after her mate called Paul had had it. Anyway, Paul moved while Mum was overseas and they lost contact, and a few years later I moved to Perth and we are looking for a place to live. We found a lovely house in Attadale so Mum and Dad went to the real estate agent and they agreed to rent the house and Mum said 'So can we meet the owners some time?'. The real estate agent goes 'Oh, no sorry they aren't living in Perth. Anyway, he is a lawyer.' Mum: 'I'm a lawyer' hehe. Then the real estate agent blushes and says 'Oh but he's a South African lawyer!! You don't want to meet him' Mum: 'I got my degree in South Africa'
So the real estate agent says 'His name is Paul Something' and it was Mum's mate from law school!!! So we rented their place before we moved to the middle of nowhere. On the first day of year 8 guess who is in my homeroom- Paul something's daughter!
Except... It's not a Perth-ed story really. Just a little bit. But I think its funny
