New Zealand Heartland XV 35 USA Select (Pacific) 12

New Zealand Heartland XV put the wood to USA Select XV Sunday in San Francisco, cruising to a 35-12 drubbing. I did not get to see the match, as my designated driver( me= sort of)couldn't stay in the City, but a friend of mine did watch and learn from New Zealand. From his point of view, New Zealand's commitment to the ruck both in numbers and ferocity made the biggest difference. Whereas our guys would support with 2-3 players, New Zealand would send 4-5 players, regularly clearing out the USA, especially when the USA was attempting to recycle the ball. Hopefully my friend wasn't the only person there to take notice...
