Would pay to see Cheika kick off at them if they did that.

"The optimistic view is that both the A-League and the NBL have the opportunity to build their live attendances and that TV figures will grow as fans become more fully attached to their clubs."

When channel One started as a sport channel that was the most I followed the NBL collectively and not just the Wildcats (member for 12 years). I also started watching NHL and NFL. Then channel One decided it wasnt sport and a lot of the games/sport were lost to paytv.

The overall problem is access. Unless you are a diehard who goes searching you wont get anything in mainstream media but AFL and these days the sports pages are filled with gossip about players and not coverage of what is happening in that sport/team. This in turn removes general knowledge/conversations then following of said sports/teams

Channel One didn't really decide that. The Murdoch family bought into Ch 10 in order to force sport onto FoxSports.

One also didn't have the money to sustain a full time sports channel.

True blonde in the shops this morning. Up travelator to the car park stopped. Stops a sec or two, then proceeds to walk up the down one. Gives me a shitty look as I pass her on the faulty one.

Return was $900 but we’re not sure were we’ll be leaving Europe from just yet.

England, France, Spain, Germany and Croatia are all in the itinerary at the moment.

I'll have to look at that for next year too then. Last time we went MAS. Couple hundred dearer but only about 1 and a half hours flight change in KL. Thai was about 9 hrs transit IIRC.

Thai Airways early bird sale ends November 5

As for time on planes it’s 7 hours to Bangkok from Perth and then another 13 to London. Hopefully like last year when we flew to Honolulu I’ll sleep most of the way! (9 and half hour flight that I slept probably 6/7 hours of)

Had a look. I didn't recall correctly-why we didn't go Thai. Its 14hrs transit coming back. MAS about 1.5hrs both ways.
