    [QUOTE=shasta;395661]Socceroos 2 (- Cahill, Spiranovic, Luongo and Sainsbury )

    I rugby, the names in the brackets are the try scorers. What does it mean in Soccer?

    I Was more talking about the "Socceroos 2" being followed by 4 names in brackets.

    Did we score 2 and the names mean something other than what I expect or did we score 4?

    I'm not sure why two of those four name are there given I'm pretty sure Cahill, Spiranovic and Luongo didn't play?

    It's soccer, maybe they were named for shouting loudly from the stands

    None of them did. Unavailabel thru injury. Hence the minus sign before their names in the brackets. Perhaps I'll spell it out next time instead for the uninterested.

    The Krauts had a couple of first picks out as well, to be fair. Still a great effort.
