I guess there's an implicit suggestion that the world champions should be the best team in the world, though the All Blacks find new and exciting ways to disprove that every 4 years

that in one year they have gone from undefeatable to losing games on home soil against teams that got knocked out in the 1/4s

they were still losing those games last year. They did a Stephen Bradbury to win it. Their World Chumps, them being the actual world champs just gives the dissappointment they dish up more exposure. I don't know how saffer supporters can hold their heads high and say "but we're the world champs" when they usually dish out mediocrity by the bucket load

jargs, don't be too hard on all of them. my saffas are embarassed by their team (although all of my saffas were at the durban game hehe so i guess they are the ones who know embarassment best). but all of the supporters i know in saffaland are not terribly proud of the boks efforts this season.

and if we were in the saffas position, im pretty sure i would be saying 'we won the last world cup' ahead of 'we finished last in the trinations'

I would'nt be saying "well we won the world cup" i'd be asking questions such as "How we could win the world cup then suck so badly the following year"
