we were robbed in 06 and probably lost the plot a bit this year when we were in front

shame MES doesnt hold more so we could play there more often

Heard the 6pr boys interview Geoff Stooke just after the announcement while I was driving home from a meeting. He was with the new Sports Minister at the launch at MES tonight and Barra was on his case about the possible refurb. Stooky said that he was very sympathetic to the needs of "rectangular sports" and that Rugby WA would be meeting with him over the next couple of weeks to put their case. Barra says "You need corners, eh Stooky?" ( wonder where he got that)

Watch this space.

They also pushed him about the "dossier". He said it's just normal business (as you'd expect) and went on to say that they were confidant of Gits re-signing and said a bit about how Bianca's (never knew Buddy was her brother till tonight) situation is a big consideration and the boy is very happy here. Also that he and Drew Mitch's great mate Josh is now on board too and will be looking to add to his 2 tests now with his mate playing outside him.

yeah..there are many saders fans in perth aswell as force fans so it will sell like hot cakes

I doubt it. While their is a rather large appetite for Rugby around these parts, it won't sell out. Summer months means people will be on holidays etc. They will definately get a good crowd i reckon, so long as the weather is good, unlike this year although the rain did stop for the game, i think they got 4000ish. Good weather means a good walk up crowd. I reckon 10-12k if the weather is good
