Here's an unpaid, shameless advertisement for A Quiz I' m organizing to defray costs of our Club Tour to the Singapore Club Rugby Sevens in late October.

I'm intending to send two or more of our under 18 colts as part of the player contingent for their development, and as these lads are still students and apprentices, you can appreciate the need to fund raise.

The quiz will be held at our function room at Tompkins Park, Alfred Cove AT 7pm on Friday the 10th October. (Please note the change of date) Apart from the usual quiz night format comprising some Rugby but mostly general knowledge questions, there will be a Dutch Auction, door prizes, spot prizes and various raffles and games. AND OF COURSE GREAT PRIZES FOR THE WINNING TABLES!

Our extensive bar will be available at club prices, free nibbles and a guaranteed great night.

I will be the Quiz Master for the evening and can ensure a good prize is won by every TWFer, no matter how dumb!

COST: $12 entry. Tables of eight.

Please give me a heads up if you can come, and how many in your party.

Sorry folks, I goofed, the quiz night is in fact the 10th of October. I've changed the post above. I hope all those that could come on the 26th of September can make for the new date.
