Don't get me started on e-books.

Netflix is a different financial model.
I pay them to rent not own.
However if I want to purchase a movie I go to JB HIFI or where ever.

If I want to buy an audio book however, I have to pay amazon $12 a month to just walk in the store to purchase that audio book.
Same if I want to buy a digital copy of a single song. $12 a month to walk in the store to buy a $0.99 song.
and no I don't want the whole freaking album.

I'm not paying for the 'privilege' of being allowed to shop in your store.

Kurtley Beale's girlfriend Maddi Blomberg caught up in the latest AFL scandal, apparently having an affair with Lethlean. Go figure?

Well his name was mentioned in the article. So TWF may as well crucify him another time? Looks like that's the level we're collectively at now.

I'd much prefer to crucify him for being overpriced, fragile and wasteful personally, but he's a tahs, so I just use that as shorthand.

    This from Payten Panda ...............
"TIMES are understandably glum at ARU headquarters these days, so Michael Cheika decided to lift the spirits of staff members with a surprise bonding exercise last week.
We’re told the national coach called every employee into a meeting room, poured them a glass of sparkling wine and then had them write life questions they wanted answered on a board, and anonymous colleagues would respond.
It seems to have worked, with the mood noticeably lighter and happier afterwards, according to insiders."

I have a new assistant started Monday - and he just tried to throw me under a bus with the Dealer Principal. He does not know who he's dealing with....

    I know what I'd do.
Until that probation period is up they're only entitled to an hour's notice of termination.
Unemployment in Perth is such that an assistant won't be hard to replace
