arriving in Derby on Monday to help get things organised for volunteers going up in Early January & finding all our vehicles(2 Troopies & a 2WD ute) had flat batteries!
furthermore all the tools have disappeared(This is Derby,after all)
had to go to the hardware store to buy a shifting spanner etc & then stand in the blazing sun & humidity & remove batteries(tried to jump start from a standard sedan,but not enough grunt to turn the troopies over)
All batteries were kaput & had to be replaced
not a good start(excuse the pun)
built up a healthy thirst though!
glad to be back in a much cooler Perth!

ps got RBT'd on the main street at 2pm on thursday-all clear.
reckon the cops would probably have a 50 percent strike rate!

I suggest that whoever is printing the passes is cocking it up-you will notice the info on the back of the card is ok,but they have used a junior members blank instead of an adult one.Thats what happened in my case,anyway

Unfortunately Darryl Regan who was the Membership Manager for many years, left late last year. I think he will be a tough one to replace, and my mail has it that there are, or soon will be, a lot of new faces down at HQ since the end of last year.

Not always a bad thing to do a cleanout (pardon the pun) and freshen things up. But you'd think it'd be a smooth transition. Sounds like it's a wee bit of a shambles

We had that a month or so back and had to go back to them give all the details again and then they took the whole lot in one go!
I couldn't be assed to contact them after that!

Yep, I got that one too. I wonder how much revenue they're losing through incompetence
