    New Stade de Francais jerseys

Well the new Stade de Francais jerseys have been released, with another to be released later today apparently. And aren't they pretty.
It is good to see McKenzie has brought some of the traditional NSW style for the 1st jersey although I must admit the 2nds is passable if it didn't have the pink flowers, although I am sure McKenzie insisted on the pretty flowers.

Anyone going to get these ordered in?

I love the flowers, no really they are my favourite flowers! Good choice by whoever designed the jersey...Not sure it goes with the gold though, I think they could have incorporated the flowers into the design instead of kinda just slapping them on top of it. Might get that one

Tie-dye went out ages ago & the lightening bolts don't make it look intimidating or manly...that one is crap! Maybe its like a scare tactic, run out in that jersey and send the other team running in fright!

    I second the motion.

The first one is a dogs breakfast.

As far as I'm concerned, oriental lillies look good in a vase, in my lounge room, NOT on a rugby jersey. EVER.
Attempting to create the polka dot effect with the fleur-de-whatevers is also an Epic Fail.

I'm pretty sure: The very sight of those jerseys would set rugby back 30 years in Canada, the US, Mexico, and most of South America...but other than that, hey, they are a conversation piece..

The first jersey is even worse then last years, which was basically the same but a simple colour of fluoro pink but at least the second jersey is no longer flowers over the colour of excrement.

    One step forward, another back.

Excrement is not really the lasting impression a team seeking world-wide approval would hope for... even in Los Angeles... but then again I can't answer for them folks.. they tend to tilt toward the weirdish...

Well I suppose the fashionistas in Paris will see the Stade de Francais jerseys as the height of fashion, despite the fact, like most fashion it is really unpractical and pretty ugly. Although apparently last season jerseys were some of the best selling jerseys that Stade de Francais have has so who knows, maybe the Force could add a few flowers and turn the swan into a browny colour.

I see your point, but let's not get carried away... Black and Blue is timeless.. like the black and orange of the baseball Giants here.. even teams i despise, (like the Los Angeles Dodgers) maintain a continuity.. Dang, I guess I have to quote that Irish feller (Oscar Wilde) the English seem to use so often: Fashion is a form of ugliness so intolerable we must alter it every 6 months-

It's a tactical decision, they wear those jerseys in an attempt to a) make the opposition vomit, b) make the opposition double up laughing hysterically, c) blind the opposition.

    Did all three for me!
