Last year I killed a man

I know this isn't the right post for this site... But i had to put it somewhere...

    Read on...

At 9.45am on Saturday, June 23 2007, I killed a man. A perfectly ordinary man, on a perfectly ordinary summer's day. CCTV pictures show him entering the station, unremarkable among all the passengers going to the West End. He waited at the front of the platform until he could hear my train approaching, then he calmly stepped down on to the tracks and looked directly at me as he waited for the impact.

Yeah your right this insn't the right place for this. I have been to too many of these to clean them up and they are horrible. For weeks afterwards they wake me up, I'm not sure what relevance this has to a rugby site. Am I missing something? If so I apologise to all.

I'm not having a go Beav, but Im also wondering?

Earlier in the year I was on a train when a similar thing happened. Obviously I dont know the details of the person etc, but its still not something I enjoy thinking about or remembering.

    It's such a powerful article...

I just wanted to get some other opinions on it.

It's an ugly subject for everyone. Like I said I have to go to these things and deal with the real thing, it's not nice. Then we have to go and tell the family, even worse. I had a bloke jump of a ten story building in front of me once and I had to do CPR on him for 40 minutes until the ambo's came, when I looked up after it there were about 300 people standing by watching.

It's powerful reading and it just shows the impact the event has on the people left behind.

No hard feelings to you and I'm not having a go at you at all so please don't think that. Just it's a raw subject to me when I'm trying to have a laugh which is what this site does for me. Sorry, but I come on here to get away from that stuff.

i had a read and it is a pretty powerfull article. There are several sides to something like this. I don't want to sound heartless but when someone contemplates jumping in front of a train or a truck etc, their going to mess with someones head as well such as the Driver etc

    I agree Jargs.
Of course it messes with peoples head. Thankfully the train I was on had just dropped off all the school kids or that train would have been full of them.
I think its a selfish act to leave someone with that image in their mind and to include 100+ people.
