    An Irish Point of View

An Irish Point of View on the US Election race..

We, in Ireland , can't figure out why people are even bothering to hold an election in the United States .

On one side, you have a woman who is a lawyer, married to a lawyer, running against a lawyer who is married to a woman who is a lawyer.

On the other side, you have a war hero married to a good looking woman who owns a beer distributorship.

What are you lads thinking over there?'

Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

That's brilliant how much easier is the decision - mind you really love to be ringside for the blindfold soccer aka BB2007 style between Mclean and Obanna - or even better Rudd and Howard

Don't really like getting involved in the politics of any country (I get a good dose of [state] politics @ work) however the American elections this year will get extra attention for obvious reason. Yes, you found me out, Obama is a relative..perhaps a whisper in his presidential ear to decree rugby be America's (new) national sport won't be asking for too much.

as a dissenting non-member of either major political parties, i find your position on rugby both agreeable and trustworthy.. as long as we (the US) sponsor and support a national team for 35-and older players... really,,, no self-interest at work here
