    AFTER being targeted by the French as a potential weak link, the Wallabies forwards can take some satisfaction from winning the physical contest against Les Bleus.

    One of the constants in the 34-13 win was the powerful performance of the pack. French coach Marc Lievremont conceded his players were very sore after the game, testament to the aggression of the Wallabies, who defended their line stoutly at the end of the game.

    At one point, the French committed 11 players to a maul on the Australian line, but were held out.

    On the video on ARU website, they asked Gits about how he felt with his performance....he accredited his points to the forwards, so they must be doing something right.
