The wingers where sopping mate - all that gel and mud was an interesting effect - what was most enjoyable was watching the poor buggers trying to pull up their shorts as they were going south with the weight of mire and visibly grimacing as the cold stuff hit the ... anyways by then the numbers had disappeared and the commentary had more or less stopped - one muddy set of hands passes to another set of hands etc.. doesn't have quite the same ring - haven't seen a game like that since Hmm 19... oh and Burgs the Ref was dirty to - he didn't have a spill only well spattered.
