Oh informative ones do we know if he will have peps like Mitchell or Stanners back - very useful additions and combinations already established.

    1: Robinson
    2: Frier
3: Dunning (yes but it is an established combo and he needs to figure this stuff out ok)
    4: Chisolm
    5: Sharpe
    6: Munn
7: Smith (only because Waugh is carrying injuries and will come on hungry 60mins)
    8: Brown (form not favouritism)
    9: Burgess
    10: Barnes
    11: Turquri
    12: Gitts
    13: Morlock
    14: Turner
    15: Shepherd

Well, it was him or Ashley-Cooper or Hynes as I wasn't going to put Tuqiri in the starting line up and as a "development" match (sorry TQ1) I thought it a good opportunity as the indication is that the whole squad was going to get a run.
If I had my way there would be several from outside this squad getting selected.

    Interesting selection process 8!!!

Polota-Nau isn't being replaced for this match, will be assesed to see if he is available for the second Test.
The available players are those listed minus TPN.

"Development" wtf is a "development" match - Aaahhh you are making excuses for Aussie Rob already just in case 14 days is not long enough to create the "winning" team - especially with all these new fangled Kiwi type ideas like creating opportunities for drop goals and having non collapsing scrums and things. you can develop as much as you like against the French I wonder if they will send the Neanderthal Chapell - actually it's a bit of a shame you didn't have the French first would have softened them up a bit for us - although this is the strongest Irish Team I've seen in a while - but the memories of the RWC still haunt me

A development game is where we put out our younger future players and whip you anyway TQ1
As discussed previously, I hate the idea of Wallaby Caps out of a Weetbix packet, but, as it seems to be going to continue, then my selections reflected that.
Personally I would have a 24 man Squad and have the rest playing Australia A, with Qantas as the main sponsor it's not as if we can't fly in a replacement around Australia!

If I was more confidant that Benn Robinson could play tighthead in a pinch I'd have Alexander in and leave Trestle right out. Brown is in the squad for his backrow utility value. Have we ever been so light-on half backs? Yak would have been a walk up start.
