    Friday Night Mayhem

So where is everyone heading to this Friday pre and post game.
Be interested to find out if J B O'reileys has got permission for the tent or if Subi Hotel will again.

Sent an email to Cambridge and got no response....PATHETIC!!!!

Did anyone go to the Subi Hotel tent after the game? If so, just how busy was it... Sardines?

In the end our crew couldn't be bothered with the crush and lining up so we trained it down to Cott and went to the Albion which was great.
This week will possibly do the same or go to the Leederville which I believe wasn't too bad last week.
There are busses running across there but not sure where they are leaving from, anyone use the bus last week?
If there's one thing in life that I'm allowed to hate, it is lining up on the street to get into a bar, so I doubt I'll be in Subiaco post match this season

I can provide an alternative. The Leederville Sporting Club at 78 Cambridge Street, West Leederville (beside the Town Hall and behind the Rose gardens) will be open before and after the game on Friday. Cheap drinks at club prices, plenty of room, big screen and projector (may have game 1 or 2 on replay) and great service. What's the catch you ask? You have to be a member.....you can join on the night for $12 which will get you through to 1 July ($40 pa). In the past there have also been huge Bledisloe Cup lunches, RWC 2003 viewings etc. I think they are doing a sausage sizzle as well, I mean what aussie event couldn't be improved with a sausage sizzle???

Chuck a couple of onions on TIF and you'll have them coming from everywhere!
Can't do it this time but looks a great idea if I get down again this season.

What I like about Irish Pub - 100m from my seat at the ground.

And Foxtel to watch all the latest sports action.

What else could I ask for?

What time does that fill up pre game Egan?
Is it open entry or membership?
Probably should call it The Irish CLUB to save confusion mate
Last match the lines at the Vic didn't really start till around 5:30 I think, mind you I was well and truely settled by then so I wasn't watching too carefully

Just got an email from O'Reileys saying the decision to have a tent went to a council meeting on Tuesday. They are still waiting to hear a response. Jeez, good to see they can give them good notice.

Cambridge Idiots!! (and I'll happily take this back if it comes good)

Yeah, if they get the go-ahead it gives them 1 day to organise stock for the outdoor bar, security, fencing, staff and whatever else. They sure aren't playing the game.

When the presentation was given on Tuesday there was apparently a letter from Peter O'Meara supporting the pubs request. He said something like it was not in the spirit of supporting the game and community. Apparently even the Mayor is on JB's side. Looks like it's just a few council people with personal agenda's that is stopping it from being approved.

Oh, if any council people read this tell your people to respond to e-mails. You are in office to support and represent the community!

    Go the Force

I shall be attending the Subiaco Hotel as early as possible.
Love the atmosphere there even though it is very packed out.
