Greg Harris as New Force CEO - how will he go?

Pretty simple, but also a tough one - whether extolling his virtues, or crucifying him before he starts, how do you think Harris will be good for the Force?

You don't have a write in or a I don't know the man Coach!

In absence of that I'm going with we're on the rise anyway, because I know that's true!

After a gut feeling more than an educated assessment - we'll post another one in a year to see how people think he's done with the evidence on the table

Well the GIGS first rule of management is a contracted boss is better than an acting boss any day! He'll be an improvement on Mitch because it's his ship, not a store he's looking after for somebody else!

Not knocking Mitch, he's done a great job and responded well to everything that was thrown his way, but acting CEO has gotta be the hardest job in the world, when you don't really have a mandate to change anything, but you have to improve the situation of the organisation......Tough work, Harris will have an easier time than Mitch, because he makes his own parameters to a certain extent.

I agree, Mitch has done a fine job and is a great ambassador for TWF. I hope he stays on in his previous management capacity. He is a bloody good bloke.

I personally hadn't heard of the guy before he was hired but you look at his record and he's been around high level sport for a long time and his experience surely will be a big positive. He had what I'd imagine to be a pretty high up position which suggests that he is highly capable and adept with coping with change (you have to be in sport). So I figure his performance at CEO will rate somewhere between quite good- if he keeps things ticking over with a happy team and happy sponsors to brilliant- if he can keep pushing the team forward with the same drive as Peter O'Meara and retain the star players and score us a rectangular stadium. I'm putting my money on something in the middle- great performance.

    Broken down,

Are you kidding? Does that include bringing back Firepower with him?

Harris has a hard job cleaning up things. Give the guy some time. I actually think things will turn around and stabilise now.

    I reckon he's doing alright.

You can't blame the CEO for Gits walking in the current climate.....at least when he gets back to canberra he'll be the golden haired boy again.

My opinion, we need to start the succession planning now. JOC on the bench every match, Swap him into 10 at the 60th minute for a while and let him go nuts.

as Rabbit finds his feet give Gits less and less game time.

Next year, give rabbit the 60 minutes and put somebody with experience and a great kick in to shut the game down if it's necessary. Give rabbit more and more time as he grows into the role.

I see no reason why Rabbit couldn't replace Giteau as the Wallaby 10 at the World Cup....Giteau is still the World's best 12. He's fixed up his defence since last year, but he's still not producing all the breaks you'd expect from the #2 in the world flyhalf.

Infact my nickname has never really come to fruition, and we're paying a huge PR price for him.

Don't get me wrong, I reckon the man's awesome, he seems like a lovely bloke and he seems to have done everything that could be expected of him...I guess I'm not slashing my wrists over his departure is all.
