Sam is a newcomer to the Emirates Western Force, having spent the previous two seasons as a member of the Waratahs Academy. An old boy of Patrician Brothers’ College in Blacktown, Sam played for the Australian Schoolboys in 2005 and was a member of the Australian U19s World Champions in 2006. He was voted Players’ Player of the Australian U19s in 2007. Sam played First Grade for Parramatta in the Sydney competition, and represented the West Sydney Rams in the Mazda Australian Rugby Championship before moving to Perth in October. He’s studying to become a personal trainer and in his spare time plays the guitar.
