Justin Harrison Leaves Ulster for a Bath

Ulster Rugby confirmed that Justin Harrison is leaving for Bath at the end of the season. Bath have signed Harrison for a 1 year contract.

A firm favourite here at the UAFC, and with the fans, Justin had this to say about his time at Ulster rugby:

"Having made my decision to leave Ulster Rugby I have afforded myself the time to reflect on the last three years.

The journey I undertook in 2005 was one filled with promise and excitement. The fears of moving hemispheres were quickly dissipated when welcomed so warmly by the Ravenhill faithful and greater Ulster public.

I am honored to have become a part of Ulster's rugby history and I wore the Red and White jersey recognizing the many that had gone before and with pride. My time with Ulster will not be measured, in my mind, by a win/loss ratio but rather the enduring friendships and memories of Friday nights at Ravenhill, that made some of the most difficult personal times of my life bearable.

Wherever the path I choose to follow leads me, I will always 'Stand up for the Ulstermen.”

A scholar and a gent off the field. He's certainly one of our most popular players and his influence has been great among the others. Lets hope he finds more success with Bath.
