Just finished watching the interview with Mitch on Inside Rugby. He made some interesting points about the ELVs, in particular how the referee can control the flow of the game. He did state that the previous game that Willie Roos officiated (Bulls v Stormers ) was an unpredictable game due to the changing flow of the game through the whistle.

Just wondering if a comment like that is going to penalise us on Sunday, because of criticism of the referee's style.

Mitch did also talk about the good games from Drew, Gits, Hockings while in the republic and changing the backrow for each game, just to name some of the topics discussed.

Your man Willie was hopeless. You would think with a quality game like this we would get a better credentialled Ref. Im not thrilled about this.

I think the comment was deliberate Ox, Mitch probably wants to get some eyes on the performance so that he can ensure the ref doesn't stuff things up too much.....He couldn't be much worse than Kelvin (the tackler has no rights whatsoever) Deaker!

On the bright side, Aussie Rob said pretty much the same thing ten minutes later in his interview, probably less flattering to be true......Neither coach thought the breakdown was anything other than a bar brawl with a rugby ball that night!

Just fast forward to the Force, it is excruciating watching Ewen McKenzie bs about his plans and how his team obviously has the skills, and the guys from Inside Rugby nodding like McKenzie is some brilliant messiah...gimme a break....

Also Mitchell said last night about Sare/Henjak that is was "unfortunate that they couldn't accpet each other differences" which I guess means they were never the best of mates to start with.

First I have heard Coach say anything about it in that manner and seemed strange this long after it happened.
